Zoe Granjon is the Speed Slalom World Champion 2015!!!

Bronze Speed Slalom medalist of the previous year, Zoe Granjon from France, did her best competition ever and won the gold medal of the World Championships 2015! This is the first Senior Women's Speed Slalom final without Italian athletes since 2009.  Zoe was desperately fighting for the victory with the double World Champion, Wang Tzu-Chien from Chinese Taipei. After a very thorough fight of the 3 runs and two false-starts for each skater, Zoe won the third race and received the third gold medal for her country!

"I feel 10 times happy, no, 200 times even!", Zoe shared her feelings, "I didn't expect to win! Just to pass every round was very hard, because everyone is here and ready to fight, so I had no rights to make mistakes, I had to be clean and fast. I still can't believe that I won! I thank French team for the support, my sister Lily and all my friends! Congratulation to everyone for the great fight!"

The small final gathered Arabi Laya from Iran and Liang Hsuan-Min from Chinese Taipei. Without any penalty, Laya won the first run, but missed one cone during the second. Third run was very clean and results were very tight. Liang Hsuan-Min received the bronze medal, repeating her result from 2013. Arabi Laya finished on the fourth place.
