WFSC 2016, Day 2 : Freestyle Classic and Slalom Pair 

The second day of the WFSC 2016 was dedicated to Freestyle Classic.

Senior Men : Sergey Timchenko is the Classic World Champion for the third year in a row!

The Freestyle Classic Senior Men podium knows no changes from last year! The first three places are the same as from the WFSC 2015. Sergey Timchenko (Rus) stayed unbeaten and confirmed his World Champion title for the third year in a row. The Vice-World Champion 2015, Ye Hao Qin (Chn) repeated his result from the last year and brought the silver medal to China. Alexander Timchenko (Rus) received his second bronze WFSC medal, finishing on the third step of the podium.

Senior Women : The biggest surprise of the day - Meng Yun won her very first World Champion title!

The Vice-World Champion 2013, Chinese Meng Yun, achieved her best result ever, winning Classic competition. She performed very clean and technical run and received her very first WFSC gold medal. The Classic World Champion 2014, Daria Kuznetsova (Rus) repeated her result from last year and finished on the second place of the podium. The Vice-World Champion 2011, Hartmanis Klaudia (Pol) received the bronze medal of this World Championships, just like she did in 2012.

Junior Men : Zhang Hao keeps his Junior World Champion title for 6 year in a row!

Chinese Zhang Hao, added another gold medal to his collection! He is now 6 times Junior World Champion! Li Wen Zhuo (Chn) performed his best result ever, receiving the silver medal of this championships, this is his very first WFSC podium. The bronze medalist 2015, Lai Hsu-Chieh (Tpe), repeated his results from the last year and won his second bronze medal, finishing third.

Junior Women : Sofia Bogdanova became the Junior World Champion for the first time in her career.

The Vice-World Champion 2015, Sofia Bogdanova (Rus) won her very first World Champion title! The results between first and second places were very close, so the total technical points defined the winner. After her third place in 2014 and second place last year, this time she was the strongest and received her very first WFSC gold medal. The 5 times Junior World Champion (2011-2015), Feng Hui (Chn) finished on the second place this time. Bao Yi Fan (Chn) showed her best result ever, finishing on the third step of the podium.

Slalom Pair : Degli Agostini Valerio and Guslandi Lorenzo from Italy brought another gold medal to Italy.

For the first time of the WFSC history European skaters won the Slalom Pair competitions! Italians Valerio Degli Agostini and Lorenzo Guslandi were the strongest pair this time and received their first gold medal. Chinese Ye Hao Qin and Zhang Hao finished on the second place, leaving the bronze medal for the pair from Japan, represented by Shibagaki Masayoshi and Shibagaki Taiki.

Second day of the WFSC 2016, brought China on the first place of the medal standings with 3 gold, 5 silver and 3 bronze medals.
